How many bones are in a giraffe’s neck?

YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY!

Answer: Seven

About The Answer:

A giraffe’s neck has seven bones within it. That is the same as a human’s neck! Although there are only seven in a giraffe’s very long neck, the bones are a lot bigger than an average bone. These bones are called cervical vertebrae. These bones fill up the six foot long neck you see when you look at this amazing creature. The giraffe’s legs are also very long. They are 6 feet on average, and although the back legs look a little shorter than the front ones, they are about the same measurement. Giraffe’s are the tallest land animal in the world, and their diet is perfect for being so tall. They eat leaves off of the trees that most other animals can’t reach. They also will eat herbs, shrubs, vines, and certain fruits when they are in season.

Great job!
