Popeye the Sailor has four nephews, although the show never states that he even has siblings!. Popeye’s nephews are identical quadruplets. They “technically” first appear in 1940; in an episode where they are in a dream sequence as Popeye’s actual kids. When they actually appear as themselves, in the year of 1942, they are the four quadruplet nephews, and it officially says their names above each of their sinks they brush their teeth in: Poopeye, Pipeye, Pupeye, and Peepeye. In this episode, they certainly don’t start out being shy, they start out the episode with loud instruments and tell their uncle they aren’t ready for bed yet. They have spunky and bold personalities that will make anyone’s day.
