Mars and Murrie are best known for?

YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY!

Answer: M&M's

About The Answer:

Mars & Murrie are best known for M&M’s, as they are the creators of M&M’s. These two men were in the same predicament at the same time. These separate but very similar situations are described as: they both didn’t like how their fathers were running their companies. They both were seeking a business partner when they found each other. So they were both the original meaning for the M’s in the title of these popular candies. The idea came about when Mars’ father saw the chocolates called “Smarties.” They have a candy coating that rarely melts, chocolate inside, and it is easy to take on a trip because of their size. This gave them the inspiration to make their own chocolates. At the beginning, M&Ms were only sold to the US Armed Forces because of the very reason that they made them almost exactly like Smarties; they almost never melt, and they travel easily. Even though it is available to everyone today, the US soldiers still receive them to this day because of these reasons.

Great job!
