Two U.S. states do not observe Daylight Savings Time, Hawaii and...?

YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY!

Answer: Arizona

About The Answer:

Arizona has not observed Daylight Savings Time since 1967. Since Arizona is in the Mountain Time Zone, from March to November during Daylight Savings Time, Arizona has the same time as the Pacific Time Zone. The exception is the Navajo Nation, which does observe Daylight Savings Time. The law “to save daylight” was passed by Congress in 1918, but after World War I, state governments needed to decide for themselves to continue with the time change. Some states continued observing Daylight Savings Time, and some did not. In 1966, it became law under the Uniform Time Act to reduce crime, conserve energy, and reduce traffic accidents since more people are traveling during daylight hours. However, in recent times, the advantages have disappeared with technological advances, and many advocate discontinuing the time change.

Great job!
