What color is a Himalayan poppy flower?

YOU ANSWERED INCORRECTLY!

Answer: Blue

About The Answer:

The Himalayan blue poppy is a striking plant with large blue flowers that grow three to five feet in height. They are a short-lived perennial and require the correct climate and conditions to grow successfully. Native to the Himalayan Mountains and Tibet, they like cool and moist conditions and excellent drained soil, slightly acidic. The northwestern United States would be an ideal location to try to cultivate a colony of these flowers. Once considered a myth, the blue poppy wasn’t confirmed until 1913, when a British explorer, Eric Bailey, chose a specimen to preserve in between his notebook pages. It wasn’t until 1924 that the blue poppy was introduced to European gardens.
