What is Arizona’s state flower?

YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY!

Answer: Saguaro

About The Answer:

The Arizona state flower is the saguaro. This is a blossom that is on a saguaro cactus! The blossom is known for its waxy and white petals. Each saguaro cactus can bloom as many as one hundred of these beautiful blossoms. You can see these blossoms bloom from early May to early June in Arizona. These flowers smell amazing, are edible, but they also have a quite short lifespan. They normally only bloom for less than 24 hours, but if they are pollinated within that short time, they turn into red juicy fruit! These fruits are super sweet when ripe, and they contain many seeds that are very high in protein and fats. The fruit can be turned into many different things such as cakes, jam, and syrup.

Great job!
