Max is the name of the Grinch’s dog. In the 2000 movie called “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” Max is played by six different dogs that are of mixed breed and shelter rescued. The names of these dogs are Kelly, Topsy, Chip, Zelda, Bo, and Stella. In the movie, Max is a loyal dog to the Grinch even though the Grinch is grumpy. Max does a lot for the Grinch; he pulls his sleigh, he serves him, he comforts him, and so much more. Max is a friend to the Grinch and is always there for him. Max is said to be the reason that Grinch is never a completely bad guy. Max is always there watching him complain and grumble about Christmas, but Max keeps the Grinch sane and helps him along his adventures.
