What is the rarest tree on earth?

YOU ANSWERED INCORRECTLY!

Answer: Three Kings Kaikomako

About The Answer:

While all of the above trees are rare, the Three Kings Kaikomako stands out as having only one living specimen living in the wild. It lives on the Three Kings Islands in New Zealand. The Three Kings Islands are actually a group of thirteen uninhabited islands northwest of Cape Reinga. Known scientifically as pennantia baylisiana, the plant grows on a slope of small loose stones on the northern face of Great Island. Professor Geoff Baylis discovered the species in 1945. Once prolific on the island, the introduction of goats to Great Island eliminated several plant species and all but the one, unreachable pennantia baylisiana.
