The Shanghai Tower (Shanghai, China) is the second tallest building, with Pin An Finance Center (Shenzhen, Chinn) coming in at the number four spot. The third tallest is the Makkah Royal Clock Tower (Mecca, Saudi Arabia). The Empire State Building was the world’s tallest building from its completion in 1931 to 1970. It is now the 46th tallest in the world and the 6th tallest in New York City.
