Which U.S. state has the most ski areas?
YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY!
Answer: New York
About The Answer:
During the 2019/2020 ski season, the state with the most ski areas was New York, with 51. There are a total of 470 ski resorts in operation last year in the United States, losing six from the previous year. Back in the winter of 1987/1988, there were 622 operational ski resorts in the United States. Michigan is second with 40 ski areas, Wisconsin and Colorado tied for third with 31 ski areas, and California and New Hamshire came in a close fourth with 30 ski areas each. Only one ski area operates in Alabama, Maryland, Rhode Island, Tennessee. An early winter storm dumped up to four feet of snow in New England, make now a great time to hit the slopes!
